Biography
Amandine Belard is a PhD student in Economics at the University of Montpellier. During her Master's at the Toulouse School of Economics she specialised in public policy and development. Before starting her PhD thesis at G-EAU, she worked on village irrigation schemes in Senegal and their impacts on food security and household income.
For her thesis, Amandine is studying farmers' preferences and decision making regarding ecological intensification of their production. Her fieldwork is in Zimbabwe. She is using revealed preference and experimental economics methods.
